Like I said, I like the man, so I'm not trying to say anything negative by this, but he never gave me the sense that he wanted to be a fighter. Just my opinion, but I think he was motivated by everything but boxing greatness. It's hard to stay on top with that mindset. And if I'm right, he went quite far. He must be pretty talented. I wish Pete well, wherever his journey may take him.

Yea, what did happen to him? Always thought he was a very talented guy but lacked gameness in a tuff situation. Too bad, really talented guy.

Got whooped and had that Victor Ortiz moment of clarity where he thought he didn't need to get beaten on like that anymore

He got overpaid his last fight and was last seen binge-eating his way into cruiserweight.

I hope he comes back at 168, that's a thin division that he could make some noise in. I wonder if he would be interested by that Boxing Super Series that Schaefer is putting on??

Got ktfo'd out by Jacobs, who was a good fighter till he fought GGG close, and suddenly became a bum.

He is not going to get paid like he used to and the money soften him up.

Ala Maindana, got paid and now it is hard to sacrifice for a fight
