  • Comments Thread For: Errol Spence Laughs at Jeff Lacy Comparisons From Team Brook

Unbeaten welterweight contender Errol Spence (21-0, 18 KOs) has laughed off some of the verbal jabs being fired by IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook and his team members. Spence, the mandatory challenger under the IBF, will finally get his chance to capture a world title - with the contest taking place in very hostile territory.

Errol has a good mindset and work ethic he will go a long way, if he beats Brook he is on a rocket so its a huge fight for him and he is all business . Really looking forward to this good luck to both guys.

Agreed. He has that AJ mentality. Humble. Focuses on the fight and not on the "reality show" drama. Confident, not c0cky. Hope he gets the W.

Ignorance from Team Brook there to be honest, they make themselves sound like fan boys on boxing websites.

Many may disagree, but Spence is a modern day Ray Leonard without the flash. He has speed and power in both hands, skill, and is fundamentally sound. Lets see if he has Leonard's heart and chin. If so, this kid will be an all time great. He's in a division that is stacked. There are very good quality fighters he can develop rivalries with. Plus he's exciting to watch. There is no limit for this kid if he can stay focused.

I really hope Spence is all that many think he is, but there's only one way to prove that ish. If he can beat Brook convincingly he'll be sold for me - not SRL great, hell no, not yet, but as maybe the top active WW.

Everyone does the Mayweather finger point!

Floyd Mayweather should get royalty checks for the finger point pose he started/originated.

Also I am so sick of boxers saying, "..at the end of the day..".

Adrian Broner wears that phrase out!

                    Muhammad Ali was SO original!!!
