How many PPV buys would Canelo/Chavez do if May/Pac didn't destroy PPV & boxing?

Their buys are trending over 1 million. The highest PPV numbers since May/Pac and the only PPV to do over 1 mil without Floyd/Pac/De La Hoya/Tyson being involved (in the U.S.)

We're talking U.S. PPV only. I'm thinking closer to 5 million

Jake Donovan was saying on the morning punch in show today he thought the numbers were going to come up shy of 1M buys, but more than Canelo vs Cotto...so not so fast on throwing Canelo into that elite Floyd, Manny, Oscar, Tyson & Holyfield level.

That said I think with the Chavez fight doing better than I expected early on before I seen the fans getting crazy about it + with the WWE GGG move on said PPV Canelo vs GGG will hit 1M & get Canelo into superstar numbers finally.

And clearly, without any doubt or disputability without Floyd & Manny buttf#cking PPV in its $90, $100 for HD ass Canelo vs Cotto & Canelo vs Chavez both do 5M+ PPVs & are 1 & 2 in PPV history.

Did he say where he's getting these numbers and why they're different than the 1 million plus that's being reported elsewhere? Jake is one of the few reporters I trust. He was reporting less than Golden Boy for the Canelo/Khan fight and when the court records came out Jake was correct.

If May and Pac didn't ruin boxing Little G could've maybe done 100K PPVs!

The same lol. May-Pac didn't destroy PPV, boxing promoters and networks are putting **** fights on PPV. May-Pac doesn't change Chavez Jr's losses to Martinez, Vera (unofficially), Fonfora, and his weight issues.
