I honestly can't see Canelo lasting more than 7 rounds. He has good upper body movement and nice combinations. But he can't cut off the ring which probably doesn't matter against G. I think he can't take the constant pressure he is going to get from Golovkin. He took rests at 154. Against Chavez he totally controlled the pace of the fight. He could punch when he wanted to and rest when he needed it. That's not going to happen with Golovkin pressuring him. I think he will slow down and Golovkin will get a stoppage. Golovkin is very good at forcing his opponent to the ropes. I think Canelo will go to the ropes and G will land a nice combination to the body and head and the fight will be over.

So what are y'all going to say when lil g gets gun shy because of all the counters and combos coming from canelito? La canela wants his competition to come forward and be the aggressor because that's where canelo shines. It's going to be an interesting fight. Win or lose I'm a canelo fan

They literally handed this guy titles and sold the muth of everyone fearing him..now when it is time to fight elite comp all we hear is excuses...So i wonder who the next"MEDIA MADE" fighter will be..They sell us these limited power punchers and hype them as greatness. It's just a shame he didn't turn pro til he was 24...didn't get a decent trainer til he was 28...fought relative obscurity til he was 30 and didn't start facing elite competition til he was 34-35. To say a olympic medalist and top amateur is not very talented is ridiculous...the truth is, we'll never really know what he could have been.

Why is Canelo special? what good fighter has he ever looked special against? Trout was arguably a draw, Lara arguably beat him and He couldn't hurt or dominate a small washed up Cotto. He's just as big a hype job as GGG if that's your logic. And don't tell me someone like Lara is some kind of elite guy. He's been knocked around the ring by bums like Angulo and fought neck and neck multiple times with Vanes...

Or is it simply because Floyd beat him easily and now he's the PPV force in boxing that you want to make him look like some super talented guy. Remember when GGG was fighting all those bums and looking amazing? Same deal with Canelo.
