Even the best fighters aren't at their best post 35 usually. Anyone who tries to tell me that Floyd wasn't better pre-35 than post-35 DKSAB in my eyes as a guy who followed Floyd from 1993 to all this Conor talk that's going on as we speak. Its a super rare thing when it does happen. Sports & boxing specifically are a young mans game. Its just how human bodies tend to work.
I'm not sure when this became controversial. This is common knowledge in boxing. I mean it's cool if people don't think GGG has lost a step. I'm not convinced myself and I pick him against anyone at middle still. You hear a guy is 35 in boxing though, and you will start having some questions about his longevity.

Usually boxers who box more and are mobile and move more and not stay in the trenches blow for blow age slower and last longer.

Boxers who have a brawling or aggressive style and trade punches often. They usually have a shorter shelf life due to the accumilative punishment they've taken due to their aggressive style.

Sometimes on rare occasions it comes down to the individual, as some boxers last longer than others and some people just age differently.

But for the most part, the rule of thought is that pure boxers last longer and age slower.

Aggressive slugging boxers have a shorter shelf life due to style of fighting and accumilative punishment that wears their bodies down a lot quicker.

Larry nobody seriously expects Mayweather to fight G. Its strictly a what if scenario. Barbershop talk.

He's not old at all, I dunno what people are smoking. Mid thirties is like prime in any sport now....except for MAYBE NFL running back

The guy has taken little damage in his career as well, he's been 12 rounds what..twice!!!???

GGG today is ~85% of his prime. But after he loses to Canelo GGGtards will say he's far from his prime like 50-60%.

You've said it about mayweather yourself many times. Always telling people to go back and watch prime floyd etc. Floyd is well past it too, and he was probably on peds for the last 5+ years of his career.

Nobody is at their best anymore at 35. Not in boxing.
