Benavidez has a verifiable set of testicles by stepping up this high and fighting a solid contender with serious power. Praise for both guys taking this risk.

It's not that high of a step.

      Benevidez is a LHW

They dropped him down to 168 because he has 0 defense.

This is an interesting step up for Benavidez. I'm eager to see how he looks.

I like this fight. This is kinda sorta like some super low budget Joshua vs Klitschko lol. You got a guy too young for this sorta fight vs a guy who's not THAT good, but better than fighting a kid this green at this point in his career. I mean ffs Porky just gave a top 2 guy in the division all he could handle.

I'm super split on this one & will probably have to go dig up some film on this one before I even land on an official pick, but I know its an interesting fight. And I will say if David is "special" like some are advertising him as then this fight will be the first step in deciding how special & if he's not special to any degree he's catching a L here.

Nice matchup. Benavidez is young but he seems like he has some grown man strength or something in his hands, they seem heavy. It's not like 1 punch power or power than has a snap, it's just forceful and they linger. He doesn't have the best defense, but he does take nice angles where he'll be way off to the side and in positions where he's not right in front squared up when he's getting off with shots. this should be action

He's slow as a pack mule and easier to hit.
