According to undefeated Olympian Errol Spence (21-0, 18 KOs), next Saturday night will be phase one of his plan to unify the entire welterweight division. Spence will finally get his mandatory shot at IBF world champion Kell Brook (36-1, 25 KOs). The fight takes place on May 27th in the champion's home venue, at Bramall Lane in Sheffield. Showtime will televise the fight in the United States and Sky Sports Box Office will handle things in the UK.

This is the exact same thing porter said right before he lost to Brook. I feel this kid is overly anxious and has not fought his way in terms of being able to see everything within the pro leagues. Hes good, but the more calm and organized fighter will win this weekend. Kell knows what he has to do, hes faced hungry fighters before, Errol is no different.

I would rather see the winner of this fight face Thurman or Manny or see thurman and Manny get it on.

The division has talent but if the guys seen to be the top guys don't fight each other then it just gets stale.

Except Porter had looked very poor vs Julio Diaz. Spence has looked nothing but dominant. This is a good fight and I like Kell Brook but I see nothing but arrogance from Brook fans/anti-American fighter fans talking about Porter, Jeff Lacy, etc. It's going to be a big shock to all of you when the fight comes and it's nothing like you've all been arrogantly predicting.
