Comments Thread For: Castellanos: I Want Title Shot; Would Love to Fight Lomachenko

LAS VEGAS Robinson Castellanos can't see any reason why he shouldn't shoot for the top of the 130-pound division now that he has pulled off the biggest upset of his career. The Mexican veteran, fresh off his surprising stoppage of Yuriorkis Gamboa, wants to challenge Vasyl Lomachenko in his next fight. Castellanos (24-12, 14 KOs) beat Gamboa (26-2, 17 KOs) at a catch weight of 133 pounds, but wants to fight within the super featherweight division after competing almost exclusively at featherweight during his first 15 years as a pro.

He can get a shot at Corrales or the winner of Berchelt-Miura since they're all with GB or at least associated with them if I'm not mistaken.

I believe he will get his shot versus Corrales in his United States debut.

He will be fighting Corrolles in the undercard of Miura vs Berchelt.

Im just guessing, that would be the more logical situation. Goldenboy ain't trying to put anyone against Lomachenko and neither is El Gaymon.

The start of this article made me think of Castaņos de Columbia.
