this is the dumbest argument because if you do actually get into a "fight", these defensive wizards would be blown out on the streets.

Fights on the streets don't last 12 rounds. They last a couple minutes max. Who do you think would win?

Maidana or Floyd on the streets?

      Kova or Ward?

Imagine either of those guys got a hold of mayweather or Wards chains or shirts. they would be blungeoned into submission.

Tomorrow walk into the sparring session. Don't engage offensively. Your entire initiative is to round around the ring and bend at the waist then hug in close.

It's so easy charlie zelenoff pulled it off against deontay wilder.

True fights and risks occur during exchanges. It's much harder to walk forward throwing your punch while minimizing the incoming risks. It comes twice as fast because of your momentum forward.

the slick boxing fans have been conned by maywaether and bernard to praise their snorefests. they sheepishly repeat their narrative too. Oh it's slick bruv! It's skills! It's pure skills to land 2 punches around and 10 hugs!
why do they out land their opponents when they fight? Obviously they have to be actually fighting

The question is how we determine winning.

In my eyes, if you are going backwards, you need a clear tactical advantage and need to land more clean punches than the other guy. You certainly don't get the benefit of the doubt when you are on your bike.
