Chavez Jr completely abandoned being a pressure fighter because he didn't want to get countered. Golovkin will eat that crazy uppercut to the face.

I can't possibly see the Golovkin who fought Wade, Brook, and Jacobs beat the Canelo who fought Cotto, Smith, and Chavez, maybe the Golovkin who fought Lemiuex could beat the Canelo that fought Kirkland but at this point Canelo easily defeats Golovkin, something like 119-109 or 118-110

GGG found his Marquez in Jacobs. He found his Floyd in Canelo.

The gap is closer now for sure than a few years ago no doubt.

                    GGG is still a beast

He made himself look vulnerable on purpose against Brook to lure Jacobs

and he made himself look vulnerable against Jacobs so he could lure Canelo

                    GGG masterplan worked

everybody will be shocked when the real GGG reappears, meaner and sharper than ever against ginger
