  • Comments Thread For: Rigondeaux is Ready For Santa Cruz, Frampton, Mares, Valdez

In order to get his career more active, WBA super bantamweight world champion Guillermo Rigondeaux (17-0, 11 KOs) is ready to go to 126 pounds or return to 118, because he does not want to continue being harmed by a lack of opponents. For now, the brilliant Cuban (17-0, 11 KO) will have a mandatory defense against mandatory challenger Moises Flores (25-0, 17 KO), at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas on June 17.

A few years too late, rigo and his team has not made any right moves ever and he's got nobody but himself to blame.

Don't know what was holding him back before. He is not a big name and he never was fighting consistent enough to stay on the public eye.

He has a lot of talent but his style does not sale. Please don't put him in another ppv event

Rigondeaux can beat any of those jokes at 126 and Loma too . Loma and rigondeaux should fight at 126 , since loma fights at 130 and rigo has done it at 122 .
At 118 rigondeaux vs chocolatico or the Japanese is a good one .
          Rigo beats them all ....

Hit and not be hit ; can not hit what you don't see .

He's been knocked down several times even by cab drivers... get lost with this hype job who beat another hype job Donaire as his claim to fame.

Chocolatito is even more of a hype job and just lost in that extremely weak division - Rigo would dominate Chocolatito don't even be stupid.

              You seem totally clueless

Wtf you talking about ? deal was Rigo goes from 122 to 126 and loma goes from 130 to 126 (also 124 was in dealing). When they put paperwork together Arum gave Rigo **** money for fight. Of course he would not accept it

Dumbass, it's the same principle as Canelo not being able to move up to 160 and fight others without looking like more of an obvious ducker of GGG. If Rigo went to 126 to cherry pick everyone would know what I already do, that he's scared of Loma.

Rigo can move up to 130 and fight Loma also - Manny Pac moved up way more than any of these guys, but you guys suck off these running fighters of color who put up boring performances and do nothing offensively - and hate on the GOAT Manny - 8 division champion who won his 8th title in his 9th division.
