Until Stevenson loses he still needs to be dealt with for there to really be a clear cut top guy. Kovalev and Ward are most likely superior fighters and given Stevenson's recent history them being viewed as above Stevenson is totally fair.

Still a guy like Stevenson can't just be hanging out there and not be dealt with for the top guy to really be undisputed.

I think Stevenson can give big problems to Ward because he is a lefty and Ward has a craptastic (technical term) right hand and beating a lefty who has a great straight left is pretty damn hard without a right hand. Kovalev may be too much and does have a right hand, but it is still a fight I want to see even if it is later than what would have been ideal.
