It may go the distance even if the Tank cannot roll over him ...but he will feel the power. . I just don't feel Walsh has the strength or power to keep Davis off him...

Not sure why people keep making comparisons to that fight when there's no real similarities at all. It was a unification right and Calzaghe was probably the more proven fighter and considered the best or at least one of the best at the time in the SMW division. Walsh is virtually unknown and unproven but a decent fighter domestically so far.

The only real fair comparison to that fight would be if Spence comes to the UK and get's whooped by Brook. That would have genuine similarities.

It amazing how some fans have myopia.

"Reminds me of Calzaghe vs Lacey" is always the refrain.

It's never "Reminds me of when Sugar Ray Leonard KTFO of Davey Boy Green"

It's never "Reminds me of the time Tyson owned Frank Bruno"

It's never "Reminds me of the time Lamont Peterson humbled Amir Khan"

And a billion other examples of the opposite happening.

          Oh well.

Davis actually has skills. Lacy was just a muscle bound guy that could hit hard. Lacy also didn't have a plan B. People forget how much clinching Calzaghe did every time Lacy would try to mount an offense.

Lomachenko has never beaten someone in 3 rounds or less.
He would beat Davis but Davis is quality and there's no shame in losing to Lomachenko.
