Most of the ABC's do not rank other bodies champions, which is why Wlad was never ranked before. This just muddies the waters a bit really. Ideally, Wilder will dispatch of Stiverne in short order and then fight Wlad. AJ is not going to fight Wilder for a good long while. After beating the bum Stiverne for a second time, Wilder will hopefully fight Wlad. People forget, before his lose to Fury, Wlad had already said he would fight Wilder as soon as he could fight an "optional" instead of some mandatory. Then Fury upset Wlad. Now Parker just turned down a fight with Wilder, AJ has said he hopes to fight someone who is somehow both a cokehead and a fat ass at the same time. Besides that, he has Pulev and Ortiz as mandatories. Fury, Pulev, and Ortiz and probably an easy win in between each, we are looking at at least a couple years before an AJ-Wilder fight can happen. Anyways, a Wlad-Wilder fight would be great because if Wilder won, a fight with AJ would be a mega-fight. Doubtful it will happen though... I see Wlad retiring. If he decides to continue fighting, he will want his rematch. Which leaves a whole bunch of bums for Wilder while Wlad, Pulev, Fury, and Ortiz all wait their turn for AJ. AJ could lose to any one of those and Wilder could possibly lose to anyone. Bottom line- after the greatest HW fight of at least the last decade in Wlad-AJ, the HW division is not going to have any fight any American cares much about for at least a couple of years and possibly much, much longer.
