Where does Canelo go at 160?

He still has not fought a credible middleweight! I have him unranked at middleweight and Chavez is a disgrace he knew negotiations were takig place he had an extra few weeks to get that weight down. Freddie Roach was a better coach than Nacho. He seemed to be overtrained.

Well he has never fought at 160,so let's wait and see.

Besides the obvious fight coming up in September with Triple G. If Canelo gets past Golovkin then...

The fighters Canelo has to fight at 160 to enhance his legacy are:

    Daniel Jacobs
    David Lemieux
    Jermall Charlo
    Billy Joe Saunders
    Chris Eubank Jr.

and Khurtsidze if he beats Saunders (Saunders would be irrelevant if Khurtsidze beats him. Likewise, Khurtsidze would be irrelevant if Saunders beats him)

Not sure what the point of the thread was since your post has little to do with the title but it's pretty easy to see where he goes. He's fighting the top guy in Sept. After that he wither defends or works his way back toward the titles.

After canelo beats golovkin, he will be able to fight whoever he wants to make the max amount of money. Peppe lepieu is a nobody, and brings nothing to the table, charlo is up and coming, that could be a nice build up if he stays undefeated, Saunders is likely the easiest option, but yet again, there's no one at MW...theres better fighters that could move up. Maybe he fights Jacobs. Fighting bums like lemieux proves nothing and he would get no credit for beating him. When you're the top guy, people just want to see you lose, and then b1tch when you win. It's lonely at the top.

Isn't he still the lineal MW champion? Lol. But, since YOU don't have him ranked...well that changes everything

Lemeiux is next up guys, Gomez already said so.

After Lemiuex it could be anybody, probably Saunders/Khurt winner.

You keep acting as if going from 154 to 160 is this big jump but it isn't. Going from 154 to 160 is a baby step up and no big deal. Any top 154 pounder is probably also a good middleweight. Canelo would more than likely be the betting favorite over any other middleweight in the world except GGG. He is only an 8 to 5 underdog to him. Canelo weighs about 170 on fight night just like GGG does. Canelo is a middleweight now and a damn good one. I don't think he will ever fight below 160 again. He may not beat GGG but I would bet on him to beat any other middleweight.

Why do you say after he beats GGG instead of if he beats GGG. They haven't fought yet so Canelo hasn't won yet. The bookies have him the underdog which means they expect Canelo to lose more likely than to win. One of the main reasons they have fights is to find out who wins and the answer only comes when the fight is over.

Because I know he'll beat him.
