Comments Thread For: Crawford Wants Unification Fight With Indongo After Facing Diaz

Bob Arum and Terence Crawford respectfully disagreed Thursday when it was suggested to them that there isn't much left for Crawford to accomplish at 140 pounds if he defeats Felix Diaz next week. Crawford made it clear he is in no way looking beyond Diaz, who'll challenge Crawford for his WBC/WBO super lightweight championships May 20 at Madison Square Garden (HBO). Crawford acknowledged, though, that he wants to face Julius Indongo in what would be a rare full title unification match in his following fight.

Crawford goes on my top 5 p4p list if he beats Diaz and Indongo this year both guys are solid solid fighters who would be a tough match up for loads of fighters right now, they're just now renowned!

Looking forward to Crawford vs Diaz should be a chess match with fireworks, nothing but the sweet science right there!

Absolutely! Seems like Indongo won't be able to hold on to both belts unfortunately, hope Crawford will still be interested.

If Crawford beats Diaz, and he can't get a fight with Mikey Garcia @ 140, then he should move to 147. I can't understand why TR is not "any closer" to making Pacquiao vs. Crawford. WTF?

This might be a great thing if you think about it. Means Crawford would have to take s 3rd fight against Derevanyachanko or however the **** you spell it

Sucks for Crawford because dude stays beating these type of opponents that the casuals don't give 3 fuggs about because they are unknown except to boxing fans. Looks like Arum is dying to push BUD Vs. Someone the casuals might like

Crawford is a bad man! Can't wait for him to move up when he unifies. Given that Arum would work with Haymon, there are plenty of great fights for him at 147
