  • Why does Nacho try and make every boxer he teaches into a Marquez 2.0?

He tried to do it with Angulo and failed, now he tried it with JCC
I bet if Tyson decided to train with him, he'd make Tyson emulate Marquez's style too

If you don't know you shouldn't post that his style of teaching try looking at Ricardo Lopez fights they are exactly of Marquez. He teaches counter punching thats his specialty. Just like the Mayweather teach Shoulder roll counter punching . Cut Amato taught Peek a Boo style

every Trainer has different aspects of training. Nacho teaches one how to be a counter puncher. Roach teaches a fighter how to be an offensive fighter, Mayweather's teach defensive maneuvers over offense.

Cuyo Hernandez taught Ricardo Lopez that style, Nacho just took the blue print and over uses it some.

Nacho gets a pass here, Chavez jr is a old fat lazy dog who always looks for the easy way out. Having that weight drain excuse in his back pocket was always going to result in some BS.

Chavez can now go down in history as the least talented and laziest fighter to make the most money in his career. We are going to get more sons of legends milking a loyal fanbase.

If Chavez Jr. wins, then Nacho is a genius. Coaches can only take a fighter so far, especially after they've already developed bad habits over their entire career. Tough to break those.

I wouldn't blame Nacho for teaching a style that works... He had HOFs under his belt... I would blame Chavez for not seeking another trainer...

you're suppose to teach what will work with that fighter. not everyone is the same, so you cant teach this fighter what worked for the other fighter.

They are trained to fight like Floyd but they just don't have the skills. Just look at the Pad work it's all the same on everyone
