So your 174 pounds estimation is just as good as anyone else's.

Canelo never ever looked as HUGE as this time vs. Chavez Jr.

AFAIK since the fight vs. Cotto, where he looked three weight divisions bigger than tiny Cotto, Canelo has NEVER allowed to be weighed on fight night.

Canelo looked 180, maybe even more than 180 pounds against Cotto and Khan.

Canelo looked EVEN BIGGER vs. Chavez Jr. and it makes sense, because there's practically a 10-pound weigh-in difference between 155 and and 164.5.

My estimation is that Canelo was around 185 pounds (or even more) vs. Chavez Jr., and Chavez Jr., who still looked drained and unhealthy even on fight night, must have been around 180 tops.

If you try to fool people into thinking that Canelo was lighter vs. Chavez Jr. than he was vs. Cotto and Khan, good luck with that. Canelo was the heavier guy vs. Chavez Jr., and he was the only healthy guy in there.

Next time make the fight at 168 (in Mexico, as a charity event, taking half of the earnings for orphan houses or something because of course nobody will be interested in seeing those two fight again outside Mexico), with exactly the same fine per excess weight, a reasonable one, say 250K as opposed to millions.

I'll bet anyone that it would become a contested fight. Probably both guys healthy, weighing around 190 on fight night, and Chavez Jr. WOULD ACTUALLY THROW a few powerful punches.
    Lol. I boxed a LOT. And I'm 5'8" couldn't weight 185 if I tried .

Canelo is 5' 7 1/2". But you say he weighs more than Kovalov??? Who has been WEIGHED the same day at around 185??? Ok your ******...Move along

    Your know jack sht.

But hey, if there are people who really believe Canelo was a tiny 174-pounder when we all saw what a huge guy he was, so be it, keep believing alternate "facts."
185, lol... the reporter who gave the weights really dislikes canelo and had no reason to lie about it, neither fighter was 185 and canelo is just too short to carry so much weight and be effective... a big guy like jacobs at 185, maybe, someone like canelo will enter the ring looking like danny devito...

            1) WHO CARES if you boxed, and about your height and weight?

            2) Canelo and Mike Tyson have the same body type. Stocky, muscular, wide. Tyson was 220 pounds as an average in his weigh-ins. Let's say he was maybe 230-235 on fight night.

            3) YOU CLAIM Canelo is 5' 7.5". Wikipedia says he is 5 ft 9 in (175 cm). Other sources claim the same.

Wikipedia says Mike Tyson is 5'10" but I believe he actually was in his prime, 5'11"

So let's say for the sake of common sense, that Canelo is 5'8" and prime Tyson was 5'11."

            That's only a three-inch difference.

As I mentioned, it's not even debatable that the two guys have the same body type, they are like "little tanks," they are not tall, but they are really wide and muscular.

With only a three-inch difference in height, I really don't see it any difficulty to assume that Canelo CAN BE 185-190 fully rehydrated on fight night, if Tyson was around 230 or maybe 235, being only three inches taller.

And again, whatever your height or weight is, I'm sure it's something that almost nobody cares about, except you and maybe your folks and close family. Certainly not me and the boxing fans in general.

Additionally, your throwing insults at me just because I replied to one comment of yours in a contradicting fashion, but in a civil manner as it should be, only proves that you have no value as a person, just as it proves that your credibility is zero.

You can't even write in proper English. And I AM wasting YOUR time? Oh okay. Sorry for that, "important person." Nobody cares if you have met Canelo in person or not. And if "I lost you" it is because evidently your reading skills and general IQ is very limited. And I am not a "mister" you fool.
