I figured you were like Hunter and Khan and every time you told your story Canelo got bigger.

Canelo weighed around 174 for Chavez. Chavez weighed more than 10 lbs then Canelo fight night. And no FN way Chavez was above 190 like you suggesting.

You trying tell me Chavez weighed over 190??? Dont stutter. Be VERY clear on this.

I'M Jr came down in weight too fast and then for the last week or so before the fight he had the hold the weight not good but I believe it had nothing to do with starving the effort was just pathetic on his part .. ALL promoters should pay him on performance only...

What is wrong with that? Dude just got beat on like a drum for 12 rounds and got paid a lot of money for it. The fight did suck mostly because of him but once the fight is over what do you want him to do?

Not a rhetorical question. Wondering off someone knows some history on the subject and when this really became the norm.
Jake LaMotta comes to mind. He always said he would have been better if there had been a SMW division when he fought. He struggled to get down to 160 for his fights, but was too small for LHW.

Vinny Pazienza (I know, not a great fighter) would have to lose 30 pounds to make weight for his fights.

Most often the don't really lose the weight, they dry out by not drinking any fluids 24 hours prior to weigh in. You can lose over ten pounds in water doing this, but at a cost of draining your energy as well. I think the combination of Jr. losing fat and drying out to make weight took a lot out of him. But, even on his best day at his ideal weight he would not beat Canelo.
