What about it?,that is why hardly anybody is answering this thread..Lots of parts in mexico they have a high crime rate,many movie and soap stars have bodyguards,many more have moved from mexico altogether..It is possible Canelo doesnt want them but his pr and security people makes him have those guards...

I don't care about the bodyguards.. He's a high profile celebrity so it would be silly not to have them, especially in a dangerous county like Mexico.

Yea, my state borders Mexico but I won't set foot over there. I've got friends who were either robbed or detained by the policia until they coughed up a few hundred bucks cash. Several years back, my girlfriend's dad had to drive down there and pay off the cops, who snatched her away from her school group for no real reason other than ransom.
When I was a kid in the 80's my family would vacation there and it was all good. Today, it's a shythole.
