He started a bit late, he's gonna have to make up for that by just fighting top opposition if he beats Brook. He has to go the Lomachenko route who's already 29 and he also started a little older but he's making up for it by fighting only a few fillers and mostly top 10 guys.

Is Spence fighting at 147 instead of 154 because it's further away from Canelo and Little G at 160? Is Spence scared to get his head knocked off by Canelo and Little G?

Why is okay for Spence and Crawford and Broner to be huge in between fights and fight two or three divisions below their natural weight but if a non-black fighter does the same they're the devil?

If, and that's a big IF, Spence beats Brook, his best win will be Little G's leftovers, .
So tell 1 good fighter lil g fought and beat cuz he sure as hell lost to Jacobs....and who has brook beat, porter that's it? You seem to forget that Errol & Bud are young and will be climbing the ladder. Don't forget Errol called out Keith at least a yr. ago....and lil g's left over was a welterweight moving to middleweight so what's your point? I bet you give lil g credit for that though right? Smh

I'd say his career has gone fine. 22nd fight and he's in with a world class Welter in Brook after earning a mandatory shot.

I guess Loma and even Joshua have ramped up people's expectations of a talented amateur turning pro but they had a powerful team behind them from the outset.

It is a positive for us though that there is an expectation that all fight fans want competitive fights and they want them quickly. That 2016 year of top fighters getting paid a lot of money for not taking a very good fights has derailed the gravy train. You can't have Gary Russell Jr getting paid a $1 million for fighting Patrick Hyland.

Fighters like Loma, Thurman, Joshua, Ward, and Kovalev have helped recently. So much so that Canelo is obligated to get in there with GGG really.

The best fights bring in the most money perhaps that wasn't the case for a while there but it seems that now it is again.

Spence has earned his mandatory shot and Brook has taken it. Great .

If brook can make this a a fight on the move he has a good shot at winning. Problem is he's been goaded into wars before and been truly touched in those wars by lighter punching foes than Spence.

Errol Spence knocked out 6 guys in 18 months - all 6 of which had never been stopped before.

I'll wait while you try to name another fighter who has done that. Or make an excuse.

It's not too great right now, but if he beats Brook he's got a very good win on his CV. I'd imagine things would take off after that.

he does have a shyt resume considering his age and skills, but he is fighting brook at the right time, now as for his rehydration or anybody else for that matter it shouldnt bother anyone, unless the rules change all this crying needs to stop, you are either breaking the rules or not and rehydration is part of the game...
