Kell Brook is going to win and myself and several other non-biased posters are going to remind these fat Yank posters at every opportunity how much mad ish they talked in the build up. In 4-5 years they'll be staying, "You still going on about that Brook-Spence fight?"
What happens to brook once he's exposed?

Two of the times Algieri got KD was when he was tryna get close to Spence. Spence just took a single step back and nailed him hard.
The other time Chris tried to use his legs and Spence chased him down in lightning speed and cut off all escape routes.
Brook is fighting a guy with exceptional inside knowledge and ring generalship. The guy is also a good jabber when he needs to be and has a height and reach advantage on Brook.
This, to me, is a much harder fight for Brook than it is for Spence. Years down the line ignorant fans will criticize this victory (if Brook wins) because of Spence's resume and prospect status but the people who are in the know will understand what a great victory it was.
Having said that, I do believe Spence wins this fight, the only possible reason he could lose is if it turns out that he aint got no chin and/or heart. Otherwise he has the physical and technical abilities to destroy Brook.Comment

This fights is a boxingscene classic so many people can't wait to say I told you so.
Tbh, I watch what the bookies do as they put their money where their mouth is. They're edging toward Spence in the UK. I don't think Spence is particularly hyped so it makes me wonder what they know and I'm a Brook fan.
Nonetheless, not sitting on the fence here. Heart ruling head. Brooks stops him but I'm not betting a penny on the outcome, lol.
How many people are putting their money where their mouth is here?Comment

Brook would be exposed as what exactly? He's already proven he's a good fighter and beat the brakes off Porter. So if Spence wins, he beat a really good fighter. Can't it just be left as that?Comment

So what impressed me about spences win over Algieri wasn't that he won or really how clearly he won, but the precision of his game plan.
Algieri lays his head to the left we dodges punches. He took this and punished him with hooks all night in close. He also learned his footwork and its general timing as to cut off the ring easier or make him move in an unnatural direction.
Brook has tells. He'll lunge in with lead rights so he can close distance and hold. He has a tendency to get too offensive during his combos and leaves himself open for counters. He keeps his hands low and relies on speed to evade punches. He's open for the body head hook combo bc he has a tendency to bring his arms down after body shots (natural reaction his is exaggerated).
Spence has tells too but he's more technically soundLast edited by TheUptownKid; 05-12-2017, 06:41 AM.Comment
