With all the outrage, Arum forgets that Jr vs Ram is a money maker in Mexico, and he wouldn't have to pay either fighter a king's ransom anyway. Lotta hate on this site for Jr, but that isn't universal throughout the sport. He's no top draw anymore, granted, but Ram has some following, mainly in Latin America, and this wouldn't be the worst fight that could be made. Put some good upper level Mexican fighters on the undercard, or even flip it with Ramirez and Jr 2nd to top billing. Lotta possibilities for a smart promoter. But I guess the old geezer Arum has gotten so cranky he'd never do it. Same with Rigo. He was really pizzed when Donut Aire was befuddled by Rigo a few years back.
