Khan's best days were about 2010/2011, so about 6/7 years ago.
He's completely irrelevant in 2017 until he beats a good fighter but he won't take any risks right now. He feels he's just entitled to walk into paydays and thinks he's a bigger deal than he is. Nobody cares about Khan now. His last fight in the UK was nowhere near sold out, the UK broadcasters have no interest in him and boxing in general in USA and UK has moved on from Amir Khan. If he wants to be in big fights, then go beat some worthwhile opponents.
It's funny how he basically avoided any fight because he thought he was going to land a Mayweather fight and in the end, that was the worst thing to do. Whatever you think of Floyd and his choice of opponents, he usually had a selling point for his opponent. Maidana had beaten Broner, Ortiz was WBC champ after beating undefeated Berto, Guerrero was mandatory etc etc...basically they're usually coming off the back of a good win or something, it's a way to make them credible. Khan staying inactive probably cost him the fight.
Thanks for sanity in the sport that only a few seem to get.Comment

Why this site continues to print all the nonsense that Khans says.
If you ask any fighter around Pac's weight they will say that they want to fight Pac and that they will beat him. No reason to continue to print the irrelevant Khan especially now that he can't fight until the fallComment
