But I agree with what you said about Oscar. They had a little piece on Canelo once before one of his fights (forgot which one) and Oscar paid him a visit. It was when they were eating meat from the grill and stuff. Idk if you remember that. I didn't see Oscar getting in the way and instead just gave some tips here and there. If I remember correctly anyway.
LOL yea I been nerding out on YouTube a lil bit lately after a long hiatus.

But yea exactly that with the Oscar & Canelo thing. That's about the extent of what the promoter & boxer exchange should be strategically about a fight.

The promoter shouldn't be watching you on the heavybag.

Actually he's not the youngest champion in boxing.

He should fight Lomachenko if he's really on a whole different level.

I think it's apart of Floyd getting the kids name out there. I was kind of surprised at the amount of views some of gervontas videos get.

yep, pocket change to him compared to what he has, I think he sees Davis as his protege and future ATG/HOF

You get it. This kid's following is bigger than guys who've been champions for years. Floyd knows what he's doing. Trying to recreate that Broner thing they had years ago.

I think these appearances are very strategic. I expect him to do this for all the fighters he thinks are special.

I actually think it's a part of his promotional pitch. Look what it did for Spence, Haney, and Stevenson.

All of those guys wouldn't have the following they have without the Floyd appearance videos.

For an example just look at the difference in popularity between Spence and Lubin.

It's like Floyd wants to get into the hall of fame as a manager too. A great fighter who could pick great fighters. Accolades for his boxing knowledge, not only his skill. Whatever his reasons, he isn't baby sitting, wet nursing, or hostage taking.
