That was like the best version of Chaves Jr ever. There is evidence he was roided during those days as well. That was actually a really good fight, lee had him but didn't pull the trigger.

Lee's career has been much better. A ko over korobov and completely robbed against quillin.

I would take lee 9 time out of ten

Canelo will throw the right shot, at the right time, in the right manner.;.... he has much better timing and accuracy, so will be much more effective

that right hand over the top will make him a good boy

Canelo's power is overrated. He is strong but is not a KO puncher.

He KO'd Kirkland & Smith who are basically stationery punching bags tailor made for him. He KO's a chinny Khan and dropped a chinny Trout.

Nothing so far suggest to me he is even remotely capable of hurting Golovkin.

Maybe Canelo will give Golovkin his first L but who on here would put serious money on it. I hope it's as good a fight as all the hype around it.

Tells us nothing in regards to his prediction/opinion on the Canelo/GGG fight.

He would have KO'd Cotto as well if he didn't respect him so much. He was clearly letting Cotto off the hook whenever he hurt him.

Regarding Chavez Jr. there is a whole list of reasons why Canelo didn't knock him out, but his lack of power is not among them.

This might sound crazy, but I think Canelo may get GGG to start moving backwards. Not just because of his power, but because of the quality of his punches. The dude became really good at hitting the mark with the right timing and leverage and he can do that all night long. GGG who has almost zero head-movement is going to suffer and suffer early.

GGG's only chance is to smother Canelo the whole fight with his bigger body and smarter footwork and finish the fight with his overwhelming power.

If he doesn't do this, then he's going to fall prey to counters and ferocious body shots. And like I said, end up being forced backwards and accomplish nothing.

Yeah I'll take that back. Andy was fun to watch every single time he fought. He has real heart too. That's more than i can say for Chavez Jr.

Lol every fight is Hagler-Hearns now.

But I agree with Lee of course. Canelo will not only give GGG a lot of problems, but also GGG will give Canelo very few things to worry about. Once Canelo's defense sets in and he can evade/block Golovkin's power punches in the first 4-5 rounds that's when it will settle in on non-believers that Canelo is just too good and GGG is good but not on the same level.
