I haven't got time to read all 30 replies but someone always calls Trinidad a cheat for using illegal wraps like Margarito and says he never punched hard after he was caught. None of that was true. He had to rewrap his hands for Hopkins because he used too much tape under only New York rules. That amount of tape was legal everywhere but New York. Extra tape doesn't add any punching power. Trinidad wasn't fined or suspended as Margarito was because he did nothing illegal. After he lost to Hopkins he still punched just as hard and KOed Mayorga at a time when no other boxer could even hurt Mayorga. Mayorga said Trinidad was the hardest puncher he ever fought. Mayorga's chin was never as good after Trinidad cracked it and other big punchers were then able to hurt him.
How do you think Canelo would have fared against Trinidad at 160?

Canelo has great head movement with precise countering, you forget that the body don't move and Tito was a vicious body puncher.Comment

CEaston would wear Trinidad down to the body and pull away from him in the mid to late rounds.
He's too strong for Trinidad at this weight, and Cannel has too good of a chin.
Trinidad would head hunt and find out Canelo has underrated defense
Canelo beats Trinidad fairly easilyComment
