Comments Thread For: De La Hoya Wants Canelo To Knock Gennady Golovkin Out

Golden Boy Promotions CEO Oscar De La Hoya, who promotes Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (48-1-1, 34 KOs), is hoping the Mexican superstar will knock Gennady Golovkin (37-0, 33 KOs) out. Canelo will challenge Golovkin for the IBF, IBO, WBA, WBC middleweight titles on September 16th. De La Hoya's company promoted last Saturday's HBO Pay-Per-View from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, which saw Canelo dominated Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. over twelve rounds.

This should be a warning to everyone that Canelo is going to box from a safe distance to avoid GGG's power.

If CANELO tries to KO lil g than he would get KO'd. If he boxes him he wins UD!!

They should both go for a KO leave the dancing to Mayweather, I cant believe he didn't win Dancing with the stars.

Only way canelo wins this is on points

Physically ggg is on another level

Chin , punch power and workrate ggg has

Canelo has to stick and move which I'm not sure he's capable of
