Byrd is pouring it on a bit thick, even if he is training Briggs.

I'd like to see Briggs win the WBA BS title. As much as he has done in and for boxing, he deserves to have a great retirement. If he can win this, then that bogus wba belt should get him a retirement payday against a bigger name.

The WBAs BS is bad for boxing, but if Briggs can retire comfortably, that'd be cool to see.

Two old dudes having a go for the last time and for no belt. Who cares... I'll read about this in the news the next day. That is if any outlet is going to be bothered mentioning this. And I actually like Briggs, dude created a very memorable meme and, you must admit, quite inspirational and positive. No freaking way though he has a chance of landing a proper fight with a real champ, let alone win it. You can't get up there by begging...gotta earn it.. He looks good for a 45 year old and should walk through...what's his name... Ah who cares..
