I'd take it too, i'm not even gonna be a hypocrite. Yeah I prefer him fighting a better fighter, but strictly speaking on if I would do the same thing, I would.

Fans are under the impression that proven boxers who already beat everyone they could and are older, are just gonna forever wear a superhero cape and raise their fist and shout "I'll fight anybody!". That's just unrealistic.

And to give my "boxing fan" opinion, and not my "what would I do if I was him" opinion, I thought he should have at least fought Khan, who's the easiest out of the top names.
Khan is not a top name .....in the UK he once was but that was many moons ago .Amir has not fought for over a year when he was knocked cold 8lbs up.He has never fought a top welterweight contender.Algieri is the perfect fight for his level and that's a pick um!

I really don't like the idea of someone like Khan investing in something like this "Super Boxing League". Money will be lost and it'll be on Khan's side. I just hope he's not silly enough to keep putting money in when his "co-investors" are having "cash flow problems".

Amir Khan is literally one of the top names available to Pacquiao. I'm not sure why you would deny that when The Ring and TBRB have him in their top 10 WW's and out those WW's his "name" was the most popular out of the one's available to Pac.

But if he had pulled out, we might not have had the pleasure of seeing Amir get KTFO. Now that would have been a shame.

Khan is a joke in England ...we've tried ! He is NOT a top welter having NEVER fought one. His PPV figures ...apart from fighting Canelo who would have great ratings fighting a fly ...... Khan's are completely non existent.

I have a friend who lives in New york ! who just laughs every time he hears his name......you should too .... Its just a smokescreen for the mugs ...No malice but time to move on !
