Any word on the great Robeisy Ramirez?

Two time Olympic gold medalist at only 22 and schooled Shakur Stevenson and the rest of eastern Europe's best.

This kid would be p4p champ in no time.

I think this put paid to a lot of Cuban migration to the USA. Even if Robeisy came over on a banana boat like Rigondeaux he'd just be sent home

    Thanks *****

Lol, Robeisy didn't schooled Stevenson, it was a close fight and the better man won.
But he wouldn't turn pro, Cuba lost too many fighters between 2004 and 2008, so they became stronger with the security towards the team.
That's why the 2012 team is almost the same as 2016 with only three more fighters (Pero, Lopez and Argilagos).
Most of them are fighting in the WSB and La Cruz and Ramirez already said that they want another gold in 2020.
Some of them are probably going to be replaced like Veitia, Toledo, Savon and Iglesias.

So Robeisy wants another gold in 2020.

3X Olympic champ would be crazy.

Shame if he doesn't get a chance to go pro.

Back in Cuba I assume I doubt he is turning pro before 2020 Olympics

Did you see Morrell's WSB debut a couple of weeks ago? He did pretty well against a 2016 Olympian. I guess La Cruz probably has one more Olympics in him though

You've missed out on some great fights buddy.
Robeisy Ramirez hasn't fought since the Olympics since the Olympics.

He can still fight in the Olympics if he turns pro unless Cuba wouldn't take him.

That's really a shame, i will watch all the fights when i get wi fi.
I read that Arlen Lopez lost twice, La Cruz lost once and Argilagos lost twice i also read that Saldivar is looking good and that Roniel has been looking great.
In other teams i read that Dychko is still fighting as an amateur so that eliminates the rumours about him turning pro, the same with Dusmatov and I also read that Melekuziev moved to 81kg.
