That was true before the Golovkin fight. I doubt Kell will sell as many PPVs against Spence as he did vs GGG, because Spence is unknown over here, but I'm sure this will do much better than 139k, which is what Brook/Gavin sold.

It will do better than the Gavin fight but i still don't see a lot of casuals buying a Brook v Spence PPV. A lot of people knew the name Golovkin, he had been marketed as the most dangerous fighter in the world and a wrecking machine etc. etc. has evidence of KO's and highlight reel ones. He was very sellable.

Even if Spence is supposedly the next big thing for American boxing, i still think it's hard to sell that to the casual market right now without evidence or reputation.

I do think it'll sell alright but not too many casuals will be willing to fork out for PPV for this one i think. I think they should have just put it on Sky Sports 1 personally.

To me, Brook isn't yet a PPV fighter even if the GGG fight sold well. It was the event and the curiosity of Brook fighting GGG that made it sell.

I expect Spence to win and I hope he wins. You are talking as if Spence is a sure think to beat Brook. Spence is only the winner when and if the fight is over and the ref raises his hand. Until then you don't know who will win anymore than anyone else. Brook is a very good boxer-puncher and one of the best welterweights in the world. Brook could win. You should wait until the fight is over and Spence beats Brook in real life before you have your victory party.

Its the way that dude goes on in every Brook or Spence thread, you would think Brook is being nuthugged as the p4p number 1 on here and Spence is some underrated boxer that is hard done by by the fans.
