if someone steps up in competition and loses he's a bum. If someone fights a bum and looks spectacular he's the next big thing.

I'm no fan of Broner and don't want to defend him but the flak he got for losing to Maidana was ridiculous. He jumped up like four weight classes, took on a legit challenger and lost. He was clearly beaten but he wasn't blown away.

Chocolatito did something similar, got beaten, but he didn't get half the criticism.

Do you know what 'Chocolatito' accomplished in the sport and who he fought? and before you answer please know your lower weights.

In fairness a nice % of boxing fans dedicate their enjoyment of boxing on sh^tting on boxers & specifically their resume so anyone we talk about gets sh^t on by some % of fans out of the gate so its not "some fighters" at all.

His first round KO over Spinks is better than half of Floyd's career.

When somebody hits like a freight train and has the skills to back it up, then the eye test is relevant.

The first time you saw kostya tyzyu fight or pacquiao or Roy Jones, you knew they were great from the eye test alone.

Edwin valero- another heavy hitter. A prime Mike Tyson even if he never beat anyone great you knew at his prime could demolish dudes.

What are you talking about here Larry? Be specific. I know Floyd is involved somehow, but who else?
