Vitali's skills were always somewhat primitive. He's a tough bastard yes, but his skills were never as good as AJs are now.

He has beat every single person put in front of him albeit his two loses which were due to injury. The logic behind who has a fighter beat falls short in a lot of ways and a few morons enjoy using it. Joe Frazier beat Ali, but I can just about guarantee you he'd get crushed by Vitali. We look at styles, size, and ability when determining a fighters ability to whoop some a$$. If you think Joshua would beat a prime Vitali at this stage you're in lala land. Who has Joshua beat for you to make that statement on behalf of him?

Vitali when he was active was on a different level than Joshua. I know he doesn't have the resume for it but I believe he was above Wlad too. He just didn't prioritize his boxing career much after those injuries and getting into politics.

Current vitali? get real. He would get killed. Prob has trouble getting out of bed in the morning with all his old injuries and just being a 7 ft tall man pushing 50.

Vitali was better than his brother but he himself wasn't that good. Both him a Wlad had a considerable size and reach advantage over the HWs during their reign but the division was pretty weak. Don't make him out to be something other than what he is/was. He was a decent fighter in a weak division who never lived up to his potential because of injuries and political aspirations.

Vitali is the great heavyweight of all time. Never been knocked down and has no clear loss - even the Lennox fight was a lucky cuts thing and so was Byrd.

Vitali would KO Joshua - he could handle Joshua's power and he is way better at the distance game than any heavyweight I've ever seen.
