Not a lot of backing for Ortiz here and I'm not surprised. Ortiz was nothing more than a boogeyman, a foil for the real top threats of the division. His support was more anti-Wilder than for him. Since AJ has more backing now the excuses come out. I had been saying Ortiz should press the mandatory shot he has instead of being eddie hearn's attack dog. Work for his own interests for once.
