Floyd and Conor are bigger stars than Canelo or GGG. If they fight, people will tune in instead of buying Canelo/GGG. They wouldn't be cutting their money short in any way because ODH would move Canelo/GGG to a new date, same as they did Canelo/cotto.

He said we just lost the sept 16 day to Canelo/GGG. Mexican holidays are huge for boxing and mexican fights. You are nuts if you think boxing fans and mexicans who drive the market are choosing Floyd/Mcgregor over Canelo/GGG. Fact is if they fought the same day it hurts Floyd/Mcgregor more. And even the UFC boss said they are moving the date because of Canelo/GGG. UFC fight fans are used to big fights on other dates anyway it's only boxing fans that care about the May/Sept mexican dates. They will make a lot of money on some random date. There was no fight that was moving Canelo/GGG.

Floyd/Macgregor isn't going to appeal to the Mexican market because it isn't a real fight. it will however massively appeal to the PPV market-which is bigger than the Mexican boxing market in the US-and would be the bigger event among casual fans.

Also, what about the african american market. While I do believe Mexicans make up a significant part of the market, the top 2 PPV atrs, Floyd and Manny, and 4 of the top 5 are not mexican.

Dude, Floyd was jealous of ODH. He beat him, has sold more PPV's than him, and earned and generated more money. He already made GBP move Canelo/Cotto.

If he decides to fight Conor on Sept 16th (because it is a the 2nd biggest weekend for boxing) and GBP moves the canelo/ggg fight its because Floyd is the greatest economic force in the sport.
