To be fair if Jacobs was Chavez Jnr he would have stopped him, Canelo has nothing on G when it comes to power. Canelos best chance is to box and be very smart he hit Chavez at will and didn't hurt him at all.

Are you really going to compare a bum like Jr. to Jacobs?

I think everybody but a few Canelo fangirls thought that, after Rd 3 i thought no way this would go 12, but then Canelo didnt push the trigger, just stood there, landed his punches, but never went in for the kill.. Chavez Jr was a drained punching bag in the ring who barely threw a punch. How anybody can even compare a Chavez with another worldclass fighter like Jacobs is just laughable.

So many ******ed fanbois,if your canelo & you already know chavez jr unleashed an onslaught vs Martinez that basically ended his career in 12th,& that you already won easily, are moving up in weight, are facing a guy who can take an insane beating without going down, etc. why the **** would you try to go for ko & open yourself up for a lucky shot or potential injury?& why wouldn't you use it as exactly what canelo did, sparring?

Hes at a new weight & every single round he gets under his belt is valuable experience,& he surely was also using it as a test to see how his body responds going the distance@ new weight, thats why canelo will beat gigi in a easy ud because he has gone the distance many times vs elite competition unlike gigi,& because canelo doesnt care what anyone thinks if its going to prepare him for the win. Its just like football(soccer) if u are brazil & your beating Bolivia w ease 3-0 in a ko rd of WC 2nd half, will u keep trying to score as many goals as you can using your star players knowing that Bolivia kicks them in the balls @ every chance?

No,you take out neymar & bring on youth & try different tactics to prepare for your next match & use the remainder as practice. Some people are such plebs theyll cry "how dare u take out neymar ",yet in the next game youll see it was a genius move as there are less star players injured or banned & the subs are that much more comfortable & prepared.

“[Saturday] was a little boring, like sparring. Canelo doesn’t want [to finish],” Golovkin said to the Los Angeles Times. “That’s not good for the people. A lot of people bought tickets and the pay-per-view. For what? For a show. Everybody likes drama, like my knockouts. If I see I can beat them, I do.”~3g

we shall see what you do in sept.
