I talked to a source with knowledge of the matter from the Ward perspective. The source said actually, it was Kovalev who no showed. The two men were supposed to both be interviewed Saturday night in Vegas during the HBO PPV topped by the Canelo Alvarez-Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. fight.

Kovalev didn’t take part, Ward did, the source said.

Funny how in this thread, when the facts from the other side come out, the immediate default response is 'who cares'.

People should know the nature about TMZ style or tabloid esque affiliated publications when you pay for it to be out. Just like general fanboys on the forum, that style exists with writers wanting the first scoop.

With his previous incident comparing Stevenson to a monkey thats understandable, but I thought the instagram video mainly made fun of Ward really disliking Kovalev and being too well-mannered to curse at him, even if he really would like to do it.
