Pathetic Mexican hater comes again with another idiotic comment. Although I agree with the statement that Chavez Jr. is a fraud. Daddy forced him to become a so-called boxer, knowing that junior has always had ZERO boxing skills.

im not a mexican hater! I have many real mexican friends and even they agree most mexican boxing casual fans are very biased.... Its all good... At least they support the sport so i cant be too mad.... Julio is a fraud that we can agree on and he has always been a fraud... If julos last name wasnt"chavez" no one in boxing would even know who is.....

Martinez was never a great fighter and the same goes for Jr. Both of them were hype jobs.

Canelo would destroy the Martinez that fought Chavez Jr. I can't see Canelo doing as many careless things as Martinez has done against Williams (1st fight), Pavlik, Chavez Jr, and Murray. Martinez constantly made a lot of defensive mistakes and he's lucky Canelo came a little bit after his time.

Great post. Martinez fought like an amateur. His hands were often low and his chin up in the air. Canelo would KO him. On top of that, his chin was very suspect. If Jr was commited to the sport when they fought, he would've KO'ed Martinez,

Yeah Martinez was dropped in nearly every fight after the Bunema fight. Even Matthew Macklin dropped him. He was terrible defensively, but he was really good offensively. I'm not too convinced that a "100%" Martinez would do any better against Cotto.

I agree once again. Cotto is THAT dude. Although smaller than Martinez, Martinez never fought ANYONE close to Cotto's skill level. Cotto beats any version of Martinez.

Martinez would outbox canelo and maybe tko him late. Also Martinez in his prime would KO cotto in the mid rounds
