If Canelo beats GGG in September...

forget the respect that Canelo would get for a moment, but what about his trainers Eddy and Chepo Reynoso? I mean they've been with Canelo since the very beginning. Would they get the respect that other trainers have like Roach, Mayweather, Garcia, Hunter... etc? Maybe trainer of the year?

They looked like amateurs when Canelo fought Mayweather. It had to be their idea for Canelo to try and outbox Mayweather.

Canelo would go p4p no.1 and his trainers should win that particular award...although I have no idea what theyve done outside of Canelo. The likes of Roach, Steward, Hunter etc have had a stabel of world class fighters in their careers

The common consensum is that Canelo's team sucks and his bum trainers are only preventing ginger from achieving his full potential

If Canelo beats GGG, they'll have to change their tune a bit for sure

Nope canelo is reaching Floyd level in the sense that he don't need a trainer or strategy from a trainer. Canelo is on auto pilot he makes his own adjustments based on how you fight him. He is very intelligent high Ring IQ he knows what he needs to do. But he's comfortable and loyal to them they keep him motivated and focused but from a tactical stand i dont think they add much at this stage of canelo career. But they do train other fighters and none have been great. They are just medicare trainers canelo is just an elite talent.

Eddy/"Chepo" don't get the pub because Alvarez is the only fighter that they work with (possibly Alvarez's brother, but I'm not even sure about that, tbh).

Floyd Mayweather being head and shoulders above every other fighter was the only way Roger Mayweather ever got any kind of press. If Alvarez can get to that point, maybe

When canelo wins he instantly becomes p4p numero uno.
