Maybe we aren't watching the same fights. Canelo... red headed Mexican dude, gets slicker every fight, not invincible, (I think) biggest money maker in boxing currently.

GGG, fairly hard ****er, hasn't had as many challenges, also not invincible. Good not great combos.

I find turning down the volume and watching fights works better for me sometimes. Just a suggestion. But at any rate, this will be a great competitive matchup. Can't wait.

Canelo is a very good fighter but he doesnt have the same power as Jacobs. He throws in nice fluid combos and has enough enough pop to keep Golovkin honest but he doesnt carry power like Jacobs.

Probably a pretty good analogy, but IMO Canelo is a better defensive fighter than Jacobs.

Never said he wasn't a great counter puncher. his jab is still non existent and his defense is primitive at the top level which has been proved time and time again.

We'll see. I happen to think his defense has improved quite a bit in recent years. And isn't defense a main element of counter punching? How can a fighter be good at counter punching if his defense is shiii?
