Gonna start with Golovkin being favorite (because hype) and eventually turn to him being a slight underdog, think Ward-Kovalev.

If I recall correctly, the initial odds after Cotto/Canelo for Canelo/Golovkin were something like -550 on Golovkin. Add in 2 years and Golovkin looking bad against Jacobs and Brook, he wont be the favorite.

yeh last year around the time of the wade fight, canelo was like $4.20 underdog, which are pretty huge odds but now its all tightened up

I suspect with GGG's age & him looking human vs Jacobs for the first time in awhile that Canelo is likely going to be the favorite or he'll quickly become the favorite.

I'm hoping Canelo is a nice dog doe so I can throw some $ on him early before the correction happens. Gonna be refreshing my sportsbook of choice til I see that line probably lol.

hopefully ggg will be. this has all the makings of a canelo win(possibly by robbery but this is boxing so you have to account for that in your betting)

I doubt that part has been finalized this early. I am sure the TMobile arena has the edge though or they would not have done the announcement there. My guess is it ends up there.

There were online sportsbooks that had odds between 3/1 and 5/1 for GGG when the fight was initially being discussed... iirc

Right now PaddyPower and SkyBet have GGG -175. Idk what they opened at but the lines are showing that it was wider than GGG -175 and that the money has been coming in on Canelo.

Canelo was a +150 dog for most of the time the line has been up, but in the last week or so he's dipped to a +145. So basically the same, but some small movement recently.
