Given that HBO wants/needs GGG to make them multi-millions over the next three (3) years, here is how I see GGG performing:

(1) GGG carries Canelo for nine or ten rounds to give the impression of a competitive fight, so the fans will clamor for a rematch;

(2) GGG destroys Canelo within 5 rounds in their rematch;

(3) GGG then fights Saunders and TKOs him;

(4) GGG next takes on Daniel Jacobs and TKOs him within 8 rounds;

(5) GGG then finishes his demolition of the middleweight division with a TKO of Lemieux;

(6) GGG next fights Andre Ward and upsets him in a close decision;

(7) GGG loses in a rematch against Ward and they both retire.

One thing for sure is that Chavez did nothing to keep Canelo honest, so Canelo did whatever he wanted to do with little fear of anything coming back.

One thing with Canelo v Golovkin as they both have the power to keep the other honest, so Canelo certainly won't have it all his own way and will have to think his way in more.

I think Golovkin takes a lot of hits from Canelo, and it will all depend how Golovkin feels them. If Canelo doesn't have the power to keep Golovkin off, it becomes a shoot-out, and Golovkin wins that.

Jacobs was successful in having the power to keep Golvkin's respect, plus the movement to keep him re-setting. Canelo's style will make for more of a punch-up. I would expect Canelo to land a higher volume of clean shots when the heat is on, but it all comes back to how Golovkin takes them. If Golovkin feels it and backs off, its Canelo's fight - if not, Canelo gets slowly worn down.

Golden Boy charged us $70.00 to watch an infomercial for a fight in September. Yet this diva said Mayweather/Pacquiao was bad for boxing.

Even though I now despise Canelo (this fight last night was the last straw). I give him a slim chance to beat Golovkin because I'm not sold yet. Golovkin will not fight cautious like he did against Jacobs because Canelo does not have fight changing power. Neither does Golovkin for that matter. To me the fight comes down to whose body attack will have a bigger effect. Canelo spent 12 rounds teeing off on Junior and did nothing to make him want to quit. He's going to have to put doubt in Golovkin's mind if he expects to keep him off of him. If he can't keep him off of him it will long grueling fight and I'm not convinced Canelo can stand up to that kind of pressure.

Do not think Canelo cannot beat GGG on a decision in VegaS

Canelo can beat GGG fairly when they meet in Sept if Canelo fights a smart fight and utilizes his fast hands and movement. Now if Canelo tries to impress in Mex style man a mano and go toe to toe with GGG and trade powershots then GGG will win the fight. Look for a trilogy anyway with Canelo winning the 3rd fight making Floyd money. Duh?
