I don't think that he would have done anything at 168, he didn't come to fight and Canelo knew it. Yet Canelo was looking like GGG's next victim and that's why I said that GGG must be licking his lips. The cinnamon man was wide open for a lot shots. Chavez just wasn't fighting back and GGG would take full advantage of the openings that he was leaving. Plus GGG punches a lot harder than Chavez.

Oh, come on. Fighters adjust to who they're fighting. Golovkin left himself open against Brook, but not against Jacobs. Canelo knew what he was doing.

Do you seriously believe Chavez would have done any better at a weight limit of 168? When a 154 pounder fights a 168 pounder they met in the middle. 164.5 lbs is much closer to 168 than 154. The catchweight was to Chavez's advantage but Canelo is just a much better fighter.
