Seriously, this heavyweight contender defeated an undefeated Tua and an undefeated Chris Byrd. I wonder what he would have done in his career had he not gone crazy.
Ike Ibeabuchi: What could he have been?

He was the guy expected to take over the division after Lewis. I believe he would have done it. Guy was a beast. Great chin, workrate and decent power.Comment

Better than all current HW fighters. He has great chin and some powerful skills. I cant forget his fight against David Tua. He didnt need businessmen to prove himself. (Like Joshua, Parker, Deontay etc...) True boxing fans know what a fighter he is!Comment

Looks like he's back in prison.
Ikemefula Ibeabuchi, 43, was arrested on April 7 in Gilbert.
The US Marshals said Ibeabuchi was wanted for violating conditions of his probation. His criminal history includes battery with intent to commit sexual assault, sexual assault, aggravated kidnapping, murder while committing a felony and possession of marijuana.
Ibeabuchi is a former heavyweight boxer and was allegedly training for a comeback.
I didn't know he murdered someone.Comment

Ike was a tremendous physical specimen, and could've had a very bright future if he didn't flush his future down the toilet by going mental. I say he'd definitely hold some version of the belts, and probably only would've lost to a Vitali Klitschko.Comment
