Chavez is not much bigger really - just taller - Canelo and Chavez basically both started at 147 - no? Chavez just hasn't stayed in shape and is a pot head - so yes it's about skill - both want it and Canelo definitely wants it more because Chavez is a spoiled pot head brat.

chavez doesnt lose because he is a pot head..... He loses because he doesnt move his big ass head lol.... He fights like a mentally ******ed fighter who comes in with his head as a defensive sheild lol... Like angulo used to use his big ass head to stop punches! Same exact stlye.... Cant throw a staight punch to save his life.... Canelo is levels above and always has been and always will be... Just like he was above kirkland, josesito lopez, angulo, smith, khan and chavez..... Now if canelo grows some balls and fights jacobs or charlo or ggg then we will find out if he is a real man....

I guess it depends how you take it. JCC saying Oscar will be surprised cuz he bought off the judges definitely doesn't make boxing more interesting, but I assume him to mean JCC Jr is gonna give Canelo a fight or beat him in JCC's mind so yeah I think boxing is more interesting on Sunday if JCC Jr is a serious player in US boxing via either of those outcomes.

Again I think JCC is just wishful thinking is the thing, but I'm rooting for it just not with any of my betting this week lol.

Not sure if Chavez is right in his pick but he's right as far as will overcoming talent. Meldrick Taylor and Camacho had more natural talent that Chavez but Chavez never stopped.

That's relative to how much heat is put on you, Chavez had no problems quitting against Oscar because he was being beat up in a very hurtful way.

Emotional cliques sound great in a fight, how pride and honor is the answer to all, well pride takes a hike when the crap is being beat out of them.

When both have the same desire its then their talent that gets the win.
