AJ is a very good fighter but he's not perfect. Even though he beat Wlad he's still pretty green and he does have flaws. He didn't look "unbeatable", so fighters want to step into the ring with him and that's a good thing. We don't want to see a bunch of fighters avoiding AJ.

He could fight Pulev in late August or early September, then fight again in December.

PPV fighters only fight twice a year at the most. Joshua has become a PPV fighter. He can only fight twice a year on such an expensive platform. Canelo has become the same thing. Mayweather was like that too. They know people won't spend on PPV more than 2-3 times a year.

Joshua has been selling solid PPV numbers in the UK fir a few years now. He could fight Pulev in late summer and again in December and it eoildbt hurt his PPV sales at all. He sold 600k against Charles Martin in the UK. Fights are much cheaper there.
