That big clown needs to get rid of Haymon if he ever wants to be somewhat relevant in the sport. He is just a beltholder who beat nobody in 38 fights so far, no fans, no hype, nothing.
Based on what data? In the UK it's huge...but in the US, it's on life support
The u.s doesnt make or break boxing, boxing as a whole doesnt revolve around the u.s anymore this is the dillusion of the U.S ..its more global now now data neeeded thats common sense and more boxers are boxing now.where is it on the brink? lol
Wilder is Joshua's big payday overseas. He's gonna let that marinate while he cleans up this U.K. money. Vlad may rematch, Fury money is out there, then as options become less lucrative he can cash out in us.
I'd like to see wilder Joshua next, but if the likes of Parker are turning down wilder for whatever reason than the option must be resistible.
I'd like to see this fight this year and hopefully it can happen..... Wilder does say all the right things but his resume isn't one of an ambitious fighter and that's why people don't believe him. You can rave about Povetkin all you want but Wilder didn't choose to fight him, he had to and its a shame that the fight didn't take place due to Povetkin being dirty but you can't credit Wilder for a fight that didn't happen.
I am not comparing Tyson just the era. Would people even give a **** about Tyson nowadays like they did in the 80s-90's?
It's not a knock on Tyson or Wilder. It's a knock on the lack of fans of the sport period. With so many entertainment choices, something has got to lose. It appears to have been boxing in general.
Nope...they'd say he was knocking out bums and would lose once stepping up...
People in this thread blaming Wilder for not fighting Pedvetkin and simultaneously saying random ****ing fights are bigger than England vs USA matchup lmao.
