Comments Thread For: De La Hoya: Canelo Will Stop Chavez Jr. in Tenth or Eleventh

Canelo Alvarez says victory over arch-rival Julio Cesar Chavez Jr will mean more to him than any title. Mexican pride is at stake when the two long-time foes and countrymen meet at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas this Saturday night, live on BoxNation, in what is one of this year's most eagerly anticipated fights.

If Chavez is still around in the tenth or eleventh Canelo isn't stopping him.

I'll be disappointed in Canelo if he can't KO the pothead in under 3 rounds.

A real light heavy was the only one to drop Chavez Jr. Because he has a decent chin and he is usually bigger than his opponent. The latter will be true come fight night. The only way he'll lose by KO/TKO is by cuts or swelling.
