Benching is a good exercise, but people do get a bit carried away. Fact is, if you bench too much your upper body becomes slow.
Not good for a boxer.
If your a weightlifter, then props to you for benching high, but if your a boxer or a combat sports practitioner, benching that much probably means your slow, plodding, and it doesn't do much for your punches.
